16 Aug 2025-Placement at Fentesta Building System

This report details the successful placement drive on August 5, 2025, by the Don Bosco Career Guidance, Training, and Placement Service, Ranchi Regional Centre, for Fenesta Building System in Hyderabad. The initiative provided a pathway to "safe, secure, and decent jobs" for young job seekers, focusing on the journey from education to employment.

Welcoming and Briefing by Fenesta HR

Mr. Naveen, the HR representative from Fenesta Building System, was warmly welcomed by Reverend Father Jerom, the Vice-Principal, and Mr. Marcus Minj, the Placement Coordinator. Mr. Naveen provided a comprehensive briefing on the company's culture and values, preparing the candidates for the interview process. He highlighted the opportunities for career growth within the company and emphasized the importance of hard work and a positive attitude. Out of the 27 job seekers who participated, all received an offer, with opportunities for both apprenticeships and full-time positions.

Counselling and Cultural Adaptation

Before their departure, Father Jerom counselled the candidates, providing essential guidance for their new journey. He focused on the importance of adapting to new cultures, both in Jharkhand and across India, and encouraged them to mingle with colleagues from different backgrounds to build a successful career. He stressed the value of continuous learning as a key to reaching new milestones.

Arrival in Hyderabad and On-boarding

Due to train ticket availability issues, the candidates departed on various dates. On August 22, 13 candidates arrived at Chengapalli Station in Hyderabad, where they were received by Mr. Naveen. He facilitated bus transportation to the company premises and arranged for their accommodation and food. On August 23, the new recruits officially joined the company, embarking on the next phase of their careers.

The Don Bosco Job Placement Network, supported by the central team in Chennai—including Rev. Father Gabriel SDB, Mr. Harish Centre Coordinator, and Mr. Agustin Program Manager played a crucial role in the successful migration and placement of these candidates. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition for the candidates. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved in this successful endeavour.
