Don Bosco Private ITI, Kokar, Ranchi, established in 1987, is a well-known institution in Jharkhand, renowned for its quality training and excellent infrastructure. The institute stands apart for its distinctive approach, giving special attention to the holistic development of each trainee. Don Bosco ITI, Kokar, plays a pivotal role in training underprivileged youth of the Chotanagpur region, with a special focus on tribal communities. The institute commendably integrates skill development with value-based education, fostering discipline, character formation, and social responsibility. With its strong emphasis on quality training, the institution prepares students to meet the demands of the job market both within and beyond Jharkhand.

Having been associated with Don Bosco ITI, Kokar, for nearly 18 years, I can personally vouch for the high standards of technical education imparted here. I have also served as Principal at Don Bosco, Liluah (West Bengal), and Don Bosco Technical Institute, Okhla (New Delhi), which provided me with valuable opportunities to serve needy youth across different regions. In addition, I have gained extensive experience as an administrator in various institutions. In recognition of my contributions, I was privileged to receive the Global Human Rights Protection Award in 2022 from the Indian Institute of Human Rights, New Delhi. In 2023, the Education Growth Network (EGN) honoured me with the Inspiring Education Hero Award for exceptional contributions to the education sector, and I was also conferred the Honour of Excellence Award during the Empower Education Conference held at Maharishi University. Furthermore, I served as the Vice Chairperson of SKIP (Skills for Progress – Association of All India Private Christian Technical Institutes) from 2018 to 2022.

The recognition received from various authorities and the responsibilities entrusted to me have been a great source of encouragement and motivation. With the collaborative efforts of the staff, management, parents, and well-wishers, I am confident that we can take the institute to even greater heights. Through this collective commitment, both the individuals trained here and society at large will continue to grow stronger, contributing meaningfully to the nation’s growth and development
